Good News ! Anglian Water have made changes to their hosepipe ban allowing customers to water newly seeded or turfed lawns for 28 days from the date of sowing or turfing.

  Whilst the recent rain has been welcomed by our customers we have recently seeded lawns for  changes to the hosepipe ban are a relief for many more. 

For those householders who have delayed turfing or re-turfing their lawns changes to the hosepipe ban rules will now allow them to water the turf for up to 28 days after it is laid. For full details check the Anglian water web site.

Where lawns are re-seeded or newly seeded the change states that the newly sown lawn area can be watered for 28 days from the date of sowing. This will allow our customers to make full use of the professional sprinkler we provide on loan to use when its not raining and thereby ensure quick establishment
